SONY 欧州でNEX-5/NEX-3 の3D機能拡張ファームウェア公開予定（dpreview.com）

欧州ソニーから、NEX-5/NEX-3用のファームウェアの内容がプレスリリースされたようです。

Sony NEX camera firmware adds 3D Sweep Panorama: Digital Photography Review

Available now for free download from the Sony Europe support site, the update adds several performance enhancements plus 3D Sweep Panorama. Unique to Sony, this exciting feature makes it easy to capture dramatic panoramic images in 3D with an extra-wide field of view.

ファームウェアの内容は、これまで公開され情報の通り

• 高速連写を活用した3Dパノラマモード、BRAVIAやその他の3Dページで表示出来る3D写真を合成する機能
• 通常の2Dパノラマモードの性能向上
• カメラをスイッチOFFした状態での省電力化
• 暗所での高速起動

ということで、バグフィクスの側面もあるようです。
